First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a T2 mapping sequence to a standard knee MRI can improve detection of early osteoarthritis. Researchers will compare scans from 28 healthy volunteers and 28 people with early knee OA. The goal is to see if this extra scan provides clearer information about cartilage health, which could lead to earlier diagnosis and treatment.
