New scan could give doctors a better picture of cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT04251481

Summary

This study is testing a special type of MRI scan to see if it can more accurately measure how head and neck cancer responds to standard chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Researchers will scan 16 patients before, during, and after their treatment to see if the scan can detect early changes in the tumor. The goal is to improve how doctors monitor treatment, not to test a new therapy itself.
