New scan could reveal kidney tumor danger without surgery
NCT ID NCT04258462
Summary
This study is testing a new type of MRI scan that uses a special, non-radioactive tracer to look at how a kidney tumor uses energy. The goal is to see if this scan can tell doctors whether a tumor is harmless (benign) or cancerous, and if it's cancer, how aggressive it might be. This information could help patients and doctors make better decisions about whether to monitor the tumor, treat it, or remove it.
