New AI tool could spot hidden prostate cancers on MRI

Summary

This study is testing a new software tool that automatically analyzes MRI images of the prostate to find cancer areas that might be missed by doctors. About 180 people with known or suspected prostate cancer will have an MRI and then a targeted biopsy. The goal is to see if the software can help improve cancer detection accuracy.
