New scan could spot silent kidney damage in rare disease

NCT ID NCT05923788

Summary

This study is testing whether a special type of MRI scan can better detect and track kidney damage in people with Fabry disease. Researchers will compare scan results from 70 adults with Fabry disease to those from healthy volunteers. The goal is to find a better way to monitor this rare disease, which often causes silent but progressive kidney problems.
