Faster, more precise radiation aims to tame prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT05676463
Summary
This study tested a new, shorter radiation schedule for men with high-risk prostate cancer. Using MRI guidance, doctors delivered higher doses of radiation over fewer sessions, aiming to target the cancer more precisely while sparing healthy tissue. The goal was to see if this approach could reduce treatment time and side effects compared to standard, longer radiation courses.
