Faster, more precise radiation aims to tame prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT05676463

Summary

This study tested a new, shorter radiation schedule for men with high-risk prostate cancer. Using MRI guidance, doctors aimed to deliver stronger radiation doses more precisely to the prostate and nearby lymph nodes over fewer sessions. The main goal was to see if this faster approach could control the cancer while causing fewer long-term side effects compared to standard, longer treatments.
