New scan aims to spot kidney damage before It's too late
NCT ID NCT04508049
Summary
This study is testing a new type of MRI scan to see if it can accurately detect and measure scarring (fibrosis) in kidneys. The goal is to create a better, non-invasive way to spot kidney damage early in people with high blood pressure-related kidney disease. Researchers will test the scan in a small group of 24 patients to see if it is reliable and can predict how well a kidney might recover.
