Brain scan may reveal future of your eyesight
NCT ID NCT04448938
Summary
This study aims to see if a special type of MRI brain scan can predict how well a person's vision will recover after an episode of optic neuritis, which is inflammation of the optic nerve. Researchers will compare brain scans from about 200 people with suspected optic neuritis to scans from a control group. The goal is to find a brain signal that can help doctors anticipate a patient's recovery path.
