Summary
This study tested four different doses of an experimental drug called MP-513 in 448 adults with type 2 diabetes who were already taking metformin. The goal was to see if adding MP-513 could safely improve blood sugar levels over 24 weeks, with an optional extension up to 52 weeks. Participants had to have an HbA1c between 7% and 10% and a BMI between 20 and 40.
