NCT ID NCT07426809

First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether a new 3D imaging tool used during breast-conserving surgery helps surgeons remove all cancer cells in one operation. About 314 women with early-stage breast cancer will be randomly assigned to standard 2D imaging or the new 3D system. The goal is to see if 3D imaging lowers the chance of needing a second surgery.
