First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests whether taking the antibiotic moxifloxacin at regular intervals can lower the number of serious lung infections (exacerbations) in adults with bronchiectasis (not due to cystic fibrosis). About 140 participants will receive either the antibiotic plan or standard care for 12 months. The goal is to see if this approach safely reduces infections and improves lung function.
