Can playful movement training make kids faster and more flexible?
NCT ID NCT07801118
First seen Sep 03, 2026 · Last updated Sep 04, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This trial tests whether a 6-week movement education program can improve speed, jumping ability, and flexibility in children aged 6 to 9. Participants attend 60-minute sessions twice a week, focusing on basic gymnastics and movement skills. Researchers measure sprint time, long jump distance, and flexibility before and after the program to see if these physical skills improve.

- Active substance
- Movement Education Program
- What this could lead to
- If it works, this could point toward simple exercise programs that help children build stronger physical skills during early development.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small trial with only 38 children, and results may not apply to all kids. The program is short, so any gains might fade without continued training.
