First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at whether mouth rinses containing plant extracts and fluoride can help protect teeth from cavities and erosion. Twelve healthy adults used different rinses, including a plain water placebo, while wearing dental appliances with tooth samples. The goal was to measure mineral loss and identify proteins in saliva to understand how the rinses work.
