First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at how physical activity affects the body on a molecular level. Over 1,800 adults were assigned to endurance training, resistance training, or no exercise for 12 weeks. The goal was to create a detailed map of the molecular changes that lead to the health benefits of exercise, not to test a specific treatment.
