First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study compares the immediate effects of motor imagery (mentally rehearsing movements) versus motor control exercises (physical movements) in 40 adults with chronic neck pain lasting at least 12 weeks. Researchers will measure pain, pressure sensitivity, neck position sense, and imagery ability after a single session. The goal is to see which approach offers better short-term relief.
