NCT ID NCT07495462
First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding motor imagery (mentally practicing movements without actually moving) to standard physical therapy can improve balance and reduce fear of movement in people with Parkinson's disease. About 42 participants will be randomly assigned to either standard rehab alone or standard rehab plus motor imagery for six weeks. Researchers will measure changes in balance, fear of falling, and daily function at the start, end of treatment, and 12 weeks later.
