Summary
This study tested whether a counseling technique called motivational interviewing could help pregnant women with gestational diabetes feel more confident in managing their health and improve their quality of life. It involved 72 first-time pregnant women who were diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Researchers compared the women's confidence and quality of life before and after four weeks of motivational interview sessions.
