First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested whether motivational interviews—supportive conversations that encourage positive behavior—could help first-time mothers breastfeed more confidently. 90 pregnant women took part, with half receiving the interviews and the other half getting standard care. The goal was to see if this approach improves breastfeeding self-efficacy and motivation.
