NCT ID NCT07447453
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Sep 17, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests a computer program called MOTIVA that creates a personalized exercise plan for adults aged 70 and older. The goal is to help them stay physically active and independent without needing a trainer or caregiver. Researchers will compare how well participants stick to the program versus a control group, and measure changes in mobility and overall health.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- personalized exercise program (MOTIVA ecosystem)
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could offer a way for older adults to maintain independence and reduce frailty through an unsupervised, tailored exercise program.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small, early-stage study (190 participants) testing adherence and physical function, not a proven treatment. Results may not apply to all older adults.
