First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested whether a program combining gentle muscle vibration with tailored exercises (aerobic, strength, and balance) could help older adults in care homes who have sarcopenia (muscle loss) and frailty. Forty adults over age 75 took part. The goal was to see if this approach could improve muscle function, reduce frailty, and boost thinking skills. The vibration therapy is painless and safe.
