Summary
This study tests a 10-week program called Conmigo that brings Latina mothers and their 8-11 year old daughters together for weekly sessions focused on physical activity. The goal is to see if the program helps girls increase their daily moderate-to-vigorous activity compared to a group that focuses on healthy eating instead. The study will enroll 432 mother-daughter pairs from 18 elementary schools in San Diego.
