First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study aims to measure levels of moral distress, moral injury, and post-traumatic stress among 21,300 nurses at Mayo Clinic. Researchers will use surveys to assess these issues and look for differences by work setting, specialty, and location. The goal is to better understand the mental health challenges nurses face, not to test a treatment.
