First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tested whether a once-monthly injection of darbepoetin alfa can keep hemoglobin levels stable in people with advanced chronic kidney disease who are not on dialysis. 40 Korean adults completed the 12-week evaluation, and the monthly dosing was found to be as effective as the standard every-2-week schedule. The goal is to reduce injection burden and improve convenience for patients.
