New study aims to cut severe birth complications for black and hispanic moms

Summary
This study compares two levels of a special care program for Black and Hispanic pregnant women at high risk for severe complications. About 674 women will be randomly assigned to either a high-touch or low-touch version of the program early in pregnancy. The goal is to see which approach better prevents severe health problems during delivery and up to a year after birth.
