Summary
This study aims to find the genetic mutation that causes polycythemia (too many red blood cells) and thrombocytosis (too many platelets). Researchers will analyze blood samples from 200 participants to identify the molecular defect. The goal is to use this knowledge to design new therapies that could one day control or cure these disorders.
