First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests a modified trabeculectomy surgery in 20 glaucoma patients whose previous combined cataract and glaucoma surgery did not control eye pressure well. The modified approach avoids cutting a layer called Tenon's capsule. The main goal is to see if it can safely lower intraocular pressure.
