Surgeons Hand-Craft stents as last hope for inoperable aneurysm patients

NCT ID NCT07224230

Summary

This study is testing a minimally invasive procedure for patients with dangerous, complex aortic aneurysms who are too high-risk for traditional open surgery. Surgeons will custom-modify a standard stent graft during the procedure to fit each patient's unique anatomy, aiming to seal off the aneurysm. The main goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective at preventing the aneurysm from rupturing over a 12-month period.
