First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether modified Otago exercises (a type of balance and strength training) can help people with type 2 diabetes who have nerve damage in their feet. 38 adults aged 40-65 completed the program. Researchers measured changes in blood sugar, cholesterol, balance, joint awareness, and physical fitness. The goal was to see if these exercises could improve daily function and metabolic health.
