First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study aims to see if blood samples from cancer patients can be turned into stem cells that mimic how each person reacts to cancer treatments. Researchers will compare cells from patients who had severe side effects to those who did not. The goal is to better understand and eventually predict who might experience toxicity from therapies like chemotherapy. The study is currently recruiting 30 adults at Mayo Clinic.
