First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a single dose of modafinil, a drug that promotes wakefulness, can improve concentration and mental clarity in people with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Twenty adults diagnosed with POTS will take the drug and then complete computer-based tests of attention and thinking. The goal is to better understand and find a potential treatment for the 'brain fog' that many POTS patients experience.
