NCT ID NCT01988883
First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a single dose of modafinil, a drug that promotes wakefulness, can improve concentration and thinking speed in people with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). About 20 adults with POTS will take the drug and then complete computer-based attention and problem-solving tests. The goal is to better understand the 'brain fog' common in POTS and explore a potential treatment option.
