New daily pill aims to halt knee cartilage loss
NCT ID NCT07323745
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether a daily oral medication called Mobithron Advance can slow down or even reverse cartilage loss in people with knee osteoarthritis. Researchers will follow 84 adults over 50 for one year, using MRI scans to measure cartilage thickness and questionnaires to track pain and function. The goal is to see if this long-term treatment can safely modify the course of the disease.
