First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a text-message program to help people who drink too much can be used in busy emergency departments. Researchers worked with 344 patients and staff to find out what makes it easy or hard to offer this kind of support. The goal was to see how many eligible patients would sign up and whether the approach is practical for real-world ER settings.
