What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Smartphone application
What this could lead to
If successful, this app could offer a low-cost way to improve early childhood development in areas with limited healthcare access.
What could go wrong
This is a relatively small study in one region, so results may not apply elsewhere. The app relies on caregiver literacy and phone access, which could limit its use.
