Your phone could help you breathe easier: app aims to tame teen asthma
NCT ID NCT04448002
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app called AIM2ACT could help teenagers with poorly controlled asthma better manage their condition. Researchers enrolled 320 adolescents (ages 12-15) and a caregiver to see if using the app improved asthma control over time. The goal was to give teens a digital tool to track symptoms and medications, potentially leading to fewer asthma flare-ups.
