New app aims to ease suicidal thoughts in veterans

Summary
This study tests a mobile app called MIST designed to help veterans reduce suicidal thoughts. The app uses techniques to change unhelpful thinking patterns. Researchers will enroll 50 veterans to see if the app is easy to use and acceptable as a support tool alongside regular mental health care.
