First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested whether a mobile app designed for caring for sick newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) helps nurses better recognize nursing diagnoses and reduce missed care. Sixty-four nurses used the app for three months, while a control group continued routine care. Researchers compared their perceptions of nursing diagnoses and missed care at one and three months, and also measured the app's usability.
