First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether a mobile app designed for sick newborn care helps nurses in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) better recognize nursing diagnoses and reduce missed care. 64 nurses used the app for 3 months, while a control group continued routine care. Researchers compared their perceptions of nursing diagnoses and how much care was missed at 1 and 3 months.
