AI predicts eye surgery outcomes better than standard methods?
NCT ID NCT07478419
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at data from 1100 people who had SMILE laser eye surgery to fix nearsightedness. Researchers used a computer model to predict how well patients would see one year after surgery. The goal was to see if the model could give more accurate results than the usual planning software.
