Summary
This early-stage study aimed to understand how reduced kidney function affects how the body processes a new drug called MK-8527. It involved 18 people, some with moderate to severe kidney impairment and others with healthy kidneys. Researchers gave a single dose and then took many blood samples to measure drug levels and check for side effects.
