Summary
This early-stage study tested the safety of a drug called MK-8189 in 29 people with Alzheimer's disease, some of whom also had symptoms of agitation or psychosis. The main goal was to see if the drug was safe and tolerable. This is a first step toward finding new treatments for these challenging symptoms.
