First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at how a new HIV medicine (MK-4646) interacts with a tuberculosis drug (rifabutin) in 18 healthy adults. Researchers measured drug levels in the blood to see if taking both together changes how much MK-4646 is absorbed. The goal is to ensure safe and effective dosing for future HIV patients who may also need TB treatment.
