Virtual reality vs. old school: which trains nurses better?
NCT ID NCT07293663
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to teach nursing students how to safely insert a feeding tube through the nose. Researchers will compare three teaching methods: mixed reality glasses with virtual instructions, watching a video, and traditional instructor-led training. First-year nursing students with no prior experience will be randomly assigned to one method, practice the procedure, and be tested on their skills immediately and six months later to see which training sticks.
