Virtual reality vs. old school: which trains nurses better?
NCT ID NCT07293663
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to teach nursing students how to safely insert a nasogastric tube, a common but delicate procedure. Researchers will compare three teaching methods: Mixed Reality glasses with virtual instructions, video-based learning, and traditional instructor-led training. The study will involve 160 first-year nursing students with no prior experience to see which method leads to better skill learning and a more positive student experience.
