Summary
This study tested whether a virtual coach can teach a life-saving emergency procedure as well as a human instructor. Fourteen adults used a mixed-reality simulator to learn how to insert a balloon into the aorta to stop severe bleeding. The goal was to see if the virtual coach was non-inferior to a human teacher.
