Video game therapy: a fun way to improve arm skills for kids with cerebral palsy?

NCT ID NCT07289360

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether a mixed-reality video game called Bootle Blast can help children with cerebral palsy improve their arm and hand skills when used at home. About 46 children aged 6-17 with hemiplegic cerebral palsy will either start the game right away or wait 12 weeks while continuing usual care. The goal is to see if the game is easy to use at home and if it leads to better motor function and engagement.
