Virtual reality CPR training put to the test in new study
NCT ID NCT07363772
First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study compares a new mixed reality (MR) system for learning CPR to standard instructor-led training. Researchers want to see if the MR method is just as effective at teaching CPR skills. The study will involve 120 adults aged 18-50 who haven't had CPR training in the last year. Participants will be randomly assigned to either the MR training or a traditional class, and their CPR skills will be tested right after training and again 6 months later.
