First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests a new microwave-based device, called MiWEndo, during colonoscopy in 50 patients who already have a polyp in their rectum. The goal is to see if the device can find more polyps safely without changing the usual procedure. The device has been tested in earlier lab and animal studies, and this is a final check before possible wider use.
