Summary
This early study is testing a new catheter-based device called CathHELIX that repairs leaky mitral valves in people with heart failure symptoms. The device is delivered through blood vessels without open-heart surgery. Researchers will check if the procedure is safe and technically successful in 5 participants with moderate to severe valve leakage.
